a friar style?

well...I simply didn't know what to do during a chilly november night... different thoughts came up to my mind... different cliks lead my hand to a friend's blog...and I wanted the same.

THE END

here I am, writing one of the last posts for few months. as some of you already know I won't be in Frascati (ROMA) for the next year; therefore I'll have a very limited access to the internet. I have a gap year from the Uni and I'll spend the next months in different friaries.

Leaving on the 8th October I'll be in a hermitage for a three month retreat; mid January I shall move to Tivoli and working in a parish, while in April I'll go to a mission in Kazakhstan for five months. I'll get back posting from the mission to let everyone know about the mission itself and what we are doing there, but for the next three months I'll be a bit unreachable. Here are some pics of where I’m going for my three month retreat.

Actually, I shall post some more before the 8th, but I'm not sure.

Keep you all well and hope to find you here in the blogging world once I'm back!

Thank you for all the kindness you've always shown me; GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

101

Thinking about 101 (post) I immediately remembered something...

yet it's not about this movie I want to blog about but, if you remember, I've a family tradition - how lucky am I?... - which is about sending ugly postcards to one another. Here again, my sisters have been on holiday together and this is what they'd found...

I actually would have been embarrassed to buy such postcard, but thinking that I would have sent it to my sisters then who cares, I would have bought it...

I'll be off for a five day retreat and then I'll be in Bolzano/Bozen for a friend of mine wedding; then home again for about 5 more days. I doubt I'll post from my parents' as my mum's computer connection is as fast as a tired sloth...
ciao ciao

a hundred posts...

wow, can't believe I've been so good and that with my posts I've interested millions of people all over the world... I have to stop editor calling me to publish a book with my blog... ok, a bit more serious now; I start again.

wow, can't believe I've been so good, I do apologise for all the sleepless nights you've spent reading my blog, for all the agony you've felt thinking "and what next?", I'm sorry if you've become addicted to the internet because of my blog, but hei... a friar's blog is a friar's blog; just wait until I'll be Pope... and the first thing the Holy Spirit will inspire me would be to stop doing this blog.

Anyway, I want to show you just a couple of pics in this post:

this is my nephew #3 wearing my hood, isn't he cute? I reckon I'm not so charming with my habit...

this is me flying into my neighbour’s swimming pool, it was during my last year summer holidays

My mum took this picture, she's a fairly good photographer but I tell you, I had to jump @ least a hundred times before she could get me with the camera, you would have seen an empty swimming pool, or a pair of hands in the left hand side of the picture, then there would have been something indefinite under the water, then just my feet out of the water… but finally she made it and I trained like an Olympic diver…
PS: TEN DAYS TO GO...

some nice pics

Ok, here we are with some pics taken during my two years with the scouts of Frascati. Thank you guys for all you've meant to me, and everything you'd given me! Shall the Lord always bless you!

Last night

we did have some good time playing together!
Good night.
PS: 16 days left...

5 September 2007

17 days to go...

I do hope someone will understand the title...

Anyway, just to let you know that the whether is finally - and thankfully - changing. We are beginning to have just a bit of rain and it's even colder; when I woke up this morning there were 22°C which is 71,60°F after having slept with my window totally open. Look @ the beautiful afternoon sky, blue and chilly, my favourite!

Do you remember the little white cat named Sofia? Here she is, she's doing really well, so nice and always over exited; I think she's the best medicine for all the friars' need of affection... you know, some pet therapy...

a very nice song

Just close your eyes and relax, think to all the good people you wish to lean on some times, think to all the good people you'd let to lean on you. Good night to all of you!
