How did we start?

are you wondering what? I obviously mean the new year! but before going deep into this most amazing subject I have to tell you a secret - yes I think the web and the blog world is the best place to share a secret and keep it as such... the secret is that I've always had problem in remembering in what year we are? Please if there's any psychologist amongst you, beside the fact you can use my blog for you PhD final thesis... I'd like NOT to know what it could mean...
Although this little problem of mine I still remember we are in 2008

and reading a blog I thought how did I began my year? Do you still remember the very very first thing you thought? you did? you did not want to do but you had to do? Ok, I’ll have to exclude the watching of fireworks and thinking what I did in the morning.
I thought i was late for my morning prayers with the other friars... then I found out to be the first one in the chapple - guess the first things of the other friars...
the first thing I did was brushing my teeth followed by all the other non-liturgical ablutions
the first thing I did not want to do was to take off my pyjama and get dressed as it was really cold in the room...

Let's say then, what's special about the new year? nothing really, but the fact that I have to remember another date and get up early as usual...
