Ummm... enjoyed your recipe, too. Except I'm certain I'd end up in tears over the onions. I usually do.

Your recipe reminded me of Babette's Feast (the film based on a book). The religious community were very strict and mainly lived on bread soup (not seasoned such as yours).

Babette slowly adds seasonings to the soup and then there is that whole feast she eventually prepares for them... a beautiful story that shows us God loves beauty (and good seasoning). ;)

I may not always comment but I will always be reading!
